Located in the Medoc region, this Cru Bourgeois estate has played a major role in building the international reputation of the Médoc. Maintaining traditional practices while making use of the modern innovations that can improve wine quality and production has led to a two hundred year history of wine par excellence. Owned and operated by Millesima since 1998, all Peyrabon wines are aged in new oak barrel for twelve to fourteen months to allow time for maturity and complexity to develop. During this time in the barrel, the wine is given time to stabilize, to deepen and incorporate tannins from both the barrel and the grapes. The oxidation and microoxidation processes used during the winemaking help to improve and refine the final product, leading to an unassuming wine. These bottles are perfect for pairing with food since their production is focused on a harmonious and balanced flavor profile with no overwhelming character, which makes these an easy match for a good meal.
