Our vineyards are exposed to the temperate breezes of Monterey Bay, which combine with rich, gravelly soil to provide an optimal setting for growing cool climate Chardonnay. This elegant, yet bright wine is an expression of the well-defined varietal fruit and fine balance that is characteristic of Monterey County. An intriguing bouquet of tropical fruit, peach and toasty oak-precedes flavors of apricot, mango and coconut with an oak-spice note in the finish from partial barrel fermentation and eight months aging in French and American oak.
