2004, Chalice Bridge Estate, Margaret River Shiraz

Deep ruby with consistent brightness and cherry red hues.  White pepper, black cherry and cinnamon aromas.  Cool climate Shiraz allows the red berry flavors to develop with a richness of flavor on the palate that is great fruit, conserve-like and chocolaty.  Just has to go with Amelia Park lamb.  The peppery and berry fruit flavors will accentuate the delicacy of this superb West Australian ‘icon’ lamb...must be served pink!
