The Kimmeridgien Limestone is the classic and best quality soil type for the Chardonnay Grape variety. It consists of alternate layers of dense chalk and softer clay which is encrusted with Marine fossils (Oestra Virgula). The citrus and honeyed flavors of this fresh, crisp, wine will continue to develop over the next two to three years. It is delicious either as an Aperitif or with seafood and dishes. Serve cool, not Chilled.
