2006, Bronco Wine Company (Franzia), California Black Mountain Vineyard Harlow Heights Pinot Grigio

This wine is destined to charm.  With a surplus of fruit overtones and stylish herbal nuances, Black Mountains Pinot Grigio continues to intrigue after each sip.  Cultivation of the famous grape from Verona, Italy in our own California vineyards provides the right climate and soil to express these fine qualities.  A wine with such depth is a wonderful candidate for pairing with food.  Veal scaloppini and risotto with mushrooms and seasonal vegetables are traditional favorites or grilled chicken, pan seared Ahi tuna, and roasted pork tenderloin are delectable combinations.
