2005, Bronco Wine Company (Franzia), California Black Mountain Vineyard Cramer Ridge Zinfandel

The diverse soils, terrain, and microclimates of California create ideal conditions for the growing of zinfandel grapes for our Black Mountain Cramer Ridge Zinfandel.  The fruit was picked at the point of perfection; just ripe enough to ensure a precise sugar-acid balance.  The wine was then aged until it reached its optimum bouquet and complexity.  You will find this wine to be a rich, mellow zinfandel with the distinctive "bramble" character.  Black Mountain Cramer Ridge Zinfandel is an exceptional wine.  Quite drinkable now.
