Winemaker Notes

These grapes, which we found to be excellent for our Black Mountain fat Cat Cabernet Sauvignon, came from diverse terrain with deep manzanita loam volcanic soil. After harvesting, this wine had some skin contact to develop it intense color and characteristic Cabernet character. This tightly structured red wine was then aged until it reached its optimum bouquet and complexity.
