Winemaker Notes

Our Herzog Special Reserve Merlot was crafted from carefully selected Merlot grapes grown in the Alexander Valley. The wine is very approachable, as it exhibits soft tannin and full body. With proper cellaring, this wine should continue to develop for another 7 to 10 years. As this wine was bottled with only light filtration, it may produce natural sediment as it ages.
