2006, Acorn Winery, Alegria Rosato

Perfectly balanced and crisp, our full-flavored dry Rosato is composed primarily of sangiovese and zinfandel.  Other grapes from our vineyards - cabernet franc, petite sirah, alicante bouschet, and muscat-complete the wine by adding delicious spice and character.  Enjoy it as an aperitif of with meal of fresco.  At Acorn winery, our passion is traditional field-blend wines.  Our food-friendly wines fully express the fruit characteristics of the diverse grape varieties we grow in Sonoma County's Russian River Valley.
