Coteau at relatively gentle slope, the Schloesselreben consists of limestone silts, marls of the Oligocene and limestone pebbles. The western exposure is interesting because it leads to good maturity and keeps a nice frame acid. Gewurztraminer and Pinot Gris Schloesselreben combines finesse, power and agility. Age potential of 12 years, the ideal would be to wait 3-4 years. Must decant.
