Slightly iridescent red. Scents of deep undergrowth, and truffles. Aromas of licorice and leather, soft tannins. This complex wine evolves favorably with time. Ventilate well the wine before serving.
Excellent Wine. Highly fragrant. A little tannic so it needs fatty food. Get your hands on a bottle and try. About $20 in Los Angeles.
Food Pairing: Had with a great beef stew. Used some of the wine to make the stew.
