The 2005 Devaux Ranch has a beautiful nose of golden delicious apple and cherry, with nuances of pineapple, toasted almond, spice and honey. Three and a half years of aging on the lees offers fresh biscuit notes and lends the wine a creamy texture. The finish is long, with hints of ripe fig, apple and vanilla.
