2006 Indian Rock Vineyards Calaveras County Coyote Creek Red
Winemaker Notes

A favorite among our regular customers, the Coyote Creek line was conceived by Dave and Ed Bauer to provide great everyday wine at a great value.  We all think this is our best one yet.  The very forward bouquet of crushed mulberry, raspberry, mineral and spice, is further enhanced by sweet vanilla toastiness.  On the mouth its lively and rich, with well-ripened tannins, jammy fruit flavors and good acid structure.  We like to drink this wine around a fire after dinner, or with any comfort food, including hamburgers, spaghetti, beef short-ribs and fajitas.

Food Pairing

Hamburgers, spaghetti, beef short-ribs and fajitas.
