This elegant Sauvignon Blanc you hold in your hands--Daniel Jaunegg's flagship wine--is named "Knily" in honor of the centuries-old farmhouse that anchor his family vineyard. One quarter of the wine was aged six months in oak barrels for deeper structure, and the result mingles velvety crispness with an almost clairvoyant fruit foreground. This wine will be surprisingly mature by Autumn, 2004, and will hold very well for at least five years.
