How often is the data updated?

We are adding to our data on a daily basis. If you are unable to find a winery or a wine, please contact us at support@vinolist.com.

What is the process for checking information that has been submitted using the “I Know” links?

All submissions are checked for accuracy and are added if they are correct.

Are there separate usernames and passwords for wineries?

Yes, please go to the Winery Login link and request a login id. Once you receive your login information, you will be able to edit your winery information and add or delete wines and images.

What types of media can I upload to VinoList?

You can upload PDF, Word docs, JPEG, GIF or PNG images. In addition you can upload Flash video files that are less than 10Mb each.

How do I keep track of my favorite wines on my wine page?

Once you set up an account, you will be able to make wine lists, add wines and publish your lists if you choose.

Are images available for most wines on VinoList?

We try to provide as many images as possible. However, in some cases the vintage shown on the label may differ. Please feel free to submit labels and images if you have them.

Can I use wine information and images on my blog or web page?

For each wine there is a “Clip” feature that allows you to clip a wine and add it to a blog or any web page.

Can I use wine information and images on Facebook or Twitter?

You can post the URL to your VinoList page on Facebook or Twitter.

How can I obtain data feeds to improve my business?

Having a comprehensive wine database is critical to customer education and increasing sales. Please contact us at sales@vinolist.com for more information.

Are there duplicates in the system?

Yes, for some wines there are duplicates. Duplicates may exist because a wine may come in different sizes or there may be a number of distributors for the wine. We will be working to reduce the number of duplicates over time but the records will be retained for the purpose of our database.

How is the Suggested Retail Price determined?

Pricing can be complex and can vary for a number of reasons. We will post the winery suggested retail price.

How does VinoList protect copyrights?

We take copyrights seriously. We attribute sources to all data and will link back to the winery if there is a URL. Please see our Terms of Use policies. In the event a winery would like their information to be removed, please contact us at support@vinolist.com.
