Located in the Saint-Emilion appellation in the Bordeaux region of France, Chateau Cheval Blanc is one of the few wines with a Premier Grand Cru Classe "A" status.
The vines of the Chateau Cheval Blanc are distinguished by outstanding quality. The vines are a unique 60% majority Cabernet Franc, known locally as Boucher. Aged between fourteen and eighteen months in brand new oak barrels, the wines are given the chance to mature while blending with the flavor notes imparted by the wood. Regular tasting processes during the aging time guarantee that each wine is fresh and well matured with a characteristic tannic structure and a "cashmere" texture.
