Using a wine aerator

Wine aerator

Any wine aficionado knows the importance of using a wine aerator to release the full taste of wine. For those who are unaware of what a wine aerator does, it essentially allows the air to interact with the wine which gives it a much nicer taste. The wine aerator lets the drink warm up and releases a beautiful aroma of the wine. The saying “Good wine needs to breathe” is very accurate because once mixed with air, the flavor and scent of wine improve, especially after using a wine aerator.

A wine aerator can do wonders for a bottle. There are many methods one can use to aerate the bottle. The easiest is to leave the bottle uncorked for some time. It is quite easy but does not work as well as a wine aerator.  This is because only the top surface area of the wine is in contact with the air, which means that the whole bottle of wine is not getting proper exposure to air, like a wine aerator can provide.

Another common way to aerate a bottle is by pouring it into the glass. This still is not as great as a wine aerator but serves better than leaving the bottle uncorked. Creating a larger distance between the wine bottle and glass will let the air interact more with the wine. But still not as effective as a wine aerator.

The best method is to use an actual wine aerator. The wine aerator can be placed over your glass or a decanter. Then the wine aerator works its magic while you simple pour your wine through the wine aerator into you glass. Using a wine aerator is considered to be the best way to make your wine smell and taste great. The wine aerator allows full contact of air to mix with the wine to give it a flawless taste. Using a wine aerator saves you from all the hassle of other conventional ways. Go buy your wine aerator now and taste the difference.
