Types of Wine

Most people enjoy a glass of wine from time to time, but hardly many know the types of wine they can choose from. In fact, if you ever want to impress a lady, you may avoid taking her to a place which offers a large menu with different types of wine

So, to solve your problem, here are the types of wine you will most likely encounter anywhere you go:

White Types of Wine

You already know that wine can be either white or red (pinkish as well, but you’re probably bound to see more red and white types of wine). So, the white types of wine you will have to choose from are:

Chardonnay This is one of the types of wine that have a fruity flavor that depends on where it was grown and how it was made.

Riesling Another fruity wine, this is one of the types of wine that offers you a honeyed flavor and oily aroma, thus will work wonders with spicy food.

Pinot GrisThis is one of the versatile types of wine, and that is because its taste depends on where its grapes were grown in.

Sauvignon Blanc – This is a crisp wine that smells divine and tastes of grapefruits and grass (in a very chic way).

Red Types of Wine

Red types of wine are a must on the dinner table and whenever you want some comfort. Here are the reds you can try:

Merlot – This is one of the softest types of wine that is rich in color and taste. Every bottle can surprise you with tastes such as plum, blackberries, and even chocolate!

Cabernet Sauvignon This is stronger than Merlot, but is one of the types of wine that can age quickly. It tastes like berries, thus will gel well with red meat.

Pinot Noir This is one of the best types of wine because its difficult-to-grow grape delivers single varietal wines.

Shiraz This is a bold, spicy wine that smells like fruit jams.

SyrahOne of the versatile types of wine, Syrah is a dark, rich wine that matures deliciously.

Gamay – This is one of the types of wine that taste like raspberry and smell delightfully fruity.

This was a list of the types of wine you can choose from whenever you feel like indulging yourself. If you haven’t tried all these types of wine, take some time out of your busy schedule and do so soon.
